Of course, Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends are legendary. This year, the scares are more thrilling than a ride on Millenium Force! If you enjoy the spine-tingling feeling of hearing real ghost stories, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to experience Haunted Sandusky tours with the folks at Firelands Adventure Tours. These one-hour tours depart downtown’s Jackson Street Pier on select dates through Sunday, October 30. You’ll enjoy a comfortable ride while Sandusky’s Grand Witch, Donna Bretz, guides you through the haunts of spirit-beings and tell stories of her encounters with them. You’ll explore cemeteries, downtown streets and buildings, and the waterfront.
If you are daring, you can sleep steps away from your haunt when you visit Sandusky Bayshore KOA Holiday Campground’s Wasted Wetlands. This haunted experience is offered to campers on Saturday nights through October 28. Ride the KOA Express train cart to meet the cannibal family that lives in the wetlands between the campground and Lake Erie. A family-friendly Halloween Town event precedes the scream team which comes out after dark.
