How It Started
Who would have thought dressing up nearly three decades ago as Elvira and a Monster during Halloween Trick or Treating would have evolved into owning and operating a year-round Haunted House recognized as one of America’s Best Haunts (www.americasbesthaunts.com)? Bill & Jayme Criscione, owners of Ghostly Manor Thrill Center in Sandusky, Ohio, didn’t get there overnight. In fact, opening night for Ghostly Manor was on a Thursday night in September of 2001, not a good time for a Haunted House advertising terror, horror, and fear. Ghostly Manor was only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during that first season in late September and October. Now Ghostly Manor Thrill Center is open all year round and located only three miles away from Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio! Because of sound financial planning, they could survive that first year even though the numbers were low.
Think you’re smart? Our newest attraction will put your brains to the test. Come as a pair or a group and attempt to solve a series of puzzles to unlock the next clue! The only way to complete the challenge is to solve the final puzzle within the time allowed. The clock is ticking in the Escape Room, and you’re the only hope for surviving and escaping the room! The “Missing Deed” Escape Room in Sandusky is NOW OPEN.

Ghosts lurk in every corner as you wander through this “old mansion.” See if you can make it all the way through as Ghostly Manor comes alive to reveal your deepest fears. Ghostly Manor Thrill Center is open at Noon every day, but our hours vary. Please refer to our current schedule for the hours of operation.

Skateworld Sandusky at Ghostly Manor Thrill Center is fun for people of all ages. On a rainy day, bring the fun indoors! On a hot summer day, Skateworld is an excellent place to gather. Our indoor roller skating area is a blast for all weather! If you’d rather your kids don’t spend their free time in front of the television or the video game console, put on some skates and get active together! No matter if you’re an adult with a size 16 shoe or a toddler with a T7, we will supply the skating equipment and high-energy music you need to have a great time with your friends and family! Rent roller skates, a scooter, rollerblades, or bring your own!
