What is a Gel Blaster, and how is it different from Laser Tag?
While Laser Tag uses infrared beams, Gel Blasters shoot small, water-based “Gellets” that burst on impact. This provides a physical sensation of being “hit” for a more immersive and realistic tactical experience, but without the mess or pain associated with paintball.
Is it safe for children?
Absolutely! Nexus is designed for “fun-first” safety. The Gellets are soft and non-toxic, making it a joyous, thrill-filled experience for kids and adults alike. We provide all necessary safety gear, including eye protection, for every player.
Is the arena indoors or outdoors?
Our arena is 100% indoors and climate-controlled. Just like the rest of Ghostly Manor Thrill Center, Nexus is open rain or shine, making it the premier indoor alternative for families visiting Cedar Point or local sports complexes.
Can we book Nexus for a birthday party or group event?
Yes! Nexus is a “hub” for group competition. It is a top choice for our vibrant Family Fun Center Birthday Parties and is ideal for sports teams from the Cedar Point Sports Center looking for some off-field team building.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No equipment is necessary! We provide the latest Nexus blasters, all the Gellet ammo you need, and safety goggles. Just show up ready to play—we’ll take care of the rest.
